State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs

The State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs was the first yugoslav state.It was created after the first World War and was created due to the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It was partially recognized and only lasted 2 months. After 1918 the territory that the newly founded state controlled got integrated to the Kingdom of Italy and Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

The State was proclaimed on the 29th October of 1918 and joined the Kingdom of Serbia on the 1st of December that year, which formed the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

The President of the National Council was Anton Korošec

The Vice Presidents of the short lasted state were Ante Pavelić Sr. and Svetozar Pribićević
